Original Project Scope
Benson Idahosa University is a well-established Christian university in Nigeria committed to the mission of raising leaders for the nation, who are complete in spirit mind and body, thus contributing to the production of high-level leadership and quality manpower for the nation and the world.
BIU is planning for a second 10,000 student campus and already has a well-developed master plan but is in need of more specific infrastructure development to allow it to reach its goal of changing the nation and the continent by changing one student's life at a time.
The team of engineers will be reviewing the master plan and developing a big picture plan for water, wastewater, site grading, roads, drainage, power distribution and communications. We will work with local engineers who will move forward with our recommendations after our portion of the project is complete.
Our team needs to be familiar with large scale planning and with coming up with recommendations to build high quality suitable infrastructure.
There has been much political turmoil in many parts of Nigeria but it has been relatively quiet in the state where BIU is located. The team will be well taken care of in terms of security, housing and travel.
