Project Scope
The Wellspring Foundation for Education is a Christian organization working with Rwandans to empower a new generation of leaders through education that transforms lives. They facilitate the development of schools in Rwanda and the empowerment of Rwandan teachers.
The Wellspring Foundation has a vision for a Ministry Centre in which their core organizational business takes place, and where they are able to host and engage those partners who make their work possible.
Phase I of the Wellspring Centre will be the development of a guest house facility that will first and foremost serve as a platform for Wellspring to host and engage with their donor community - those who support the transformation of Rwanda through high quality, Christian values-based education. In line with their core values, Wellspring believes that their donors are partners, and that Wellspring has a responsibility to enrich and bless their donors lives as their donors also support and bless Wellspring.
Phase II will include the development of offices to serve as the organization’s headquarters for their future work in Rwanda, as Wellspring Academy Secondary School, where they are currently housed, has need of that space.
While this project’s impact to the poor is indirect, it is profound. By enabling Wellspring to engage and host their donor community, their ability to serve hundreds of Rwandan teachers, educational leaders, and parent-teacher committee representatives each year is greatly enhanced. At the present time they are already doing teacher and leadership training and community involvement in 40 public schools that have hundreds of teachers and tens of thousands of children, many of whom live in poverty. Through this project, Wellspring will enhance their ability to serve. Will you use your professional skills to help them serve better?
