Original Project Scope
La Mansaamo Kpee International (LMK) exists to shed the light of Christ’s love by creating an enabling socio-economic environment for human development and growth through the mobilization of both indigenous and external resources, human, financial, and technology to improve the quality of life of the La commuity in particular and its rural settlements in general. They work with LMK Ghana, a community-based association in the town of La, the first indigenous urban-based self-help organization in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. They have established a community bank, schools, and clinics in the Greater Accra Region, and run public toilets to keep the communities clean.
LMK would like to transform the clinic that they are already operating into a 130 bed maternal & child specialty hospital to serve the health needs of children and mothers in low-income families.
EMI will be creating a master plan and building concepts for the new 130 bed facility, including space planning, site development, and operational requirements.
LMK believes when people see the good works we do in their communities in Africa they will be attracted to the gospel of Christ. Will you come alongside LMK to show the love of God to the community of La?
