Original Project Scope
Since 1986, Sahel Academy has been serving the educational needs of missionaries in Niger. They hear parents say again and again, "We would not be able to be here, doing what we do, if it were not for the ministry of Sahel Academy." The school provides a quality Christian education to children of elementary and secondary age for these international missionary families, as well as to other international families as space is available. Sahel Academy, in supporting missionary families in Niger in their varied ministries to the poor, plays an important "behind the scenes role" in helping make these ministries possible. 150 children are expected for the fall of 2011 and the opportunity for growth continues. The eMi team will assist with master planning the remaining open area of the property. The resulting documents will become a framework for the school to actively recruit expertise and resources to accelerate their focus on finishing this development project.
