Original Project Scope
The Haiti Children's Rescue Mission (HCRM) exists to
help children whose families can't take care of them and to support Haitian families. HCRM is committed to providing Haitian children a place where they will be loved and cared for, where they will be protected, where they will be taught the truth of the love of Jesus, and where they will be given hope . . . to give Haitian children a safe, clean, Christian environment so each child may live like a person, not simply exist and struggle. Right now in Haiti, there are many children living in the streets.
Currently, HCRM is in a rented building with no freshwater well. It is very difficult to get the children to school because we have no means of transportation for them. Also, there is very little room for them to play. Creating the HCRM Village with orphanage, school, church and medical clinic will address the children's spiritual, physical and emotionall needs. The HCRM Village will also be a source of Christian support to the community. Families outside of HCRM could attend the HCRM church and send their children to the HCRM school.
