Original Project Scope
Reach One Touch One Ministries (ROTOM) is a Christian not for profit organization whose mission is to reach poor, older persons with the Gospel of Jesus in word and deed throughout Uganda. The ministry provides a wide variety of services including: home visits, weekly Christian fellowships and counseling, meal provision to the elderly, medical treatments, funerals, hygiene training and housing & home renovation projects. These efforts have had life changing and lasting impacts on seniors served.
As the ministry grows, so has the need for innovative and sustainable ways to meet the needs of seniors in Uganda. This new initiative involves the design of a Seniors Health Center & Hospice Unit on 2 acres of land where sick and terminally ill seniors can come for medical treatment and specialized care. The complex will also include administration space and residences for staff and volunteers. |
